I'm not sure how sane I am (or how CRAZY I am) but I have started the Dear Jane quilt!!!!
Yes, I know you're all thinking - WHAT??? not THAT quilt??? but in my defence, I have some very persuasive friends and I have loved this quilt since I first saw one hanging in a show about 3 years ago. To be honest, I never thought I'd ever make one, but after a little nudging form certain 'friends' I've dived in. Here are my first 5 blocks
They are all 5 inch square, and some of them are quite fiddly, but I'm not expecting this to be done anytime soon, I've taken it on as a long term project and not expecting to see it near finishing before next year......I found some fabrics I bought about a year ago which i loved so I am using them. I have about 6 metres of them in total so I'm hoping that will be enough :)
So answers on a postcard please.....Am I mad???? Actually times have moved on and you can leave your answer in the comments below LOL
