Happily I can report that my Jack Attack quilt is finished....and quite literally finished just in time. It is my nephews 21st birthday today (Mon) and we were having a surprise birthday party for him at my sister's house on Sunday afternoon, so I had to have the quilt finished fore the party, and I finished the last stitch on the binding at 10pm on Friday night and spent Saturday evening snipping off and burying any loose threads.
I loved it, loved making it and my nephew loved it too. I think it's a great pattern, so versatile and it can look so different depending on which fabrics you use.
If you'd like to make one for yourself you can find the instructions over at Lilys Quilts. I can tell you that this was so easy to do, Lily's instructions were great and you get a stunning looking quilt, especially for a guy. There are not many patterns that I think suit a young man, but this is definitely one for the guys :)
